From nowhere, a new smartphone has emerged from benchmarking site result, running Windows Phone OS (probably the latest 10 version) and holding Snapdragon 820 SoC under-the-hood. The device in question here is hinted to be the previously leaked HP Falcon, which is currently being in the production stage if it’s a device intended to reach the consumer market.
Adreno 530 GPU is holding the GPU front, and the device is further equipped with a 6-inch display with 2k resolution (QHD), 1.5GB of RAM and 43GB of internal storage. The rear side holds a 20MP camera with support for 4k video recording while the front side holds a massive 12MP shooter supporting up to full HD video recording.
This fresh leak was spotted on GFXBench, a benchmarking site usually dealing with smartphones, and we often see a lot of rumoured devices passing some tests over there. At this time, no other details are available but this fresh leak does confirm the previous one. It even confirms the specifications spotted earlier.
Rumours generating from Microsoft’s smartphone department has already hinted towards the production of a super Surface phone, and if it’s any real, then Snapdragon 820 SoC will definitely be part of the package, in order to truly claim the ‘super’ badge.
Until we hear any official words or more citing bringing any sort of confirmation, it’s recommended to take this news as a pinch of salt. Stay tuned for more updates!
