As expected, Lenovo has launched its Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus in India. The handset is supposed to replace A6000 and A7000 smartphones which were launched for the consumers previously. The company has kept 8,499INR as the price and it will be available exclusively on Flipkart from March 23. It was earlier announced at MWC with Vibe K5.
I’ve already updated you of the specifications and features of the handset, but to refresh you once again, the handset comes with a 5-inch IPS LCD display, stretched to 1080×1920 pixels (full HD resolution), Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 SoC, 64-bit octa-core processor, Adreno 405 GPU and this configuration is equipped with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, expandable further up to 128GB.
It comes with dual SIM card support, both with 4G LTE support and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, microUSB 2.0 port, FM Radio, and GPS are the connectivity features. The camera department holds a 13MP shooter on the rear side with LED flash and a 5MP shooter at selfie side. The primary shooter uses OmniVision OV13850 sensor, 5 element lens, and f/2.2 aperture.
The only downside in the handset is that it runs on Lenovo’s custom skin atop of Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. The handset comes with company’s TheaterMax technology which basically splits the screen into two, making a room for ANT VR headset, which will be sold separately.
If you’re interested in buying, then check out Flipkart on aforementioned date at 12 PM IST. The handset will be available to purchase then.
