Getting yourself established in the much hyped and competitive smartphone industry isn’t that easy, and it’s definitely not for a startup. Still, an India-based new smartphone maker is making an impact on the concept of offering a new phone every month.
The company has already revealed a teaser video confirming the outer aesthetics of the device, but we still have to learn a lot. Hopefully, the device will be launched very soon, and as usual, we will keep you updated.
The primary feature CREO has been working on is to deliver a better Android experience. Almost every Android manufacturer is poised with the Android’s fragmentation issue and the majority of them aren’t working on providing regular OS updates to the consumers, leaving their device vulnerable for future holes.
As far as my knowledge is concerned, CREO has struck the right nerve but we still have to wait and see how far they are ready to take this. Promising a new phone every month means, at least, one update every month, which isn’t that easy to offer. Moreover, the company is also promising to use the Stock Android, which is seriously a major feature itself.
CREO Mark 1 leaked specs
Now, let’s talk about your favourite part, the leaks. As every other smartphone, we had specifications of CREO Mark 1 leaked, thanks to a GFXBench listing.
According to that, the handset is running on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, carrying a 4.6-inch display with Quad HD resolution of 2560×1440 pixels, and a MediaTek MT6795 SoC featuring an octa-core CPU clocked at 1.9GHz. It further carries 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
The camera department enjoys a 21MP shooter at the rear, possible with Sony’s sensor and the front side holds an 8MP shooter. The support for 4k video recording is onboard along with autofocus.
So, these details confirm the presence of a mid-ranger but a key thing to note from the listing is that there is only a single SIM card support, which isn’t impressive, considering our love for Dual SIM handsets.
Whatever comes out, I’ll be here to update every bits and byte. Till then, you can enjoy the video teaser and get a visual look. I’ll leave you with the teaser itself.
